A penetration style thermocouple (Type K or Type T) which has a sharp pointed/needle style tip for penetration into foodstuff and semi-solid products. The stainless-steel probe and T-Bar PTFE solid handle make the sensor suitable for use at high temperatures, up to 260°C. Commonly used to measure the temperature of raw or cooked food.
Supplied with 2 metres of PFA insulated extension cable and an insulated sensing junction..
For easy connection into hand-held instrumentation or connector panels the sensors can be supplied with a miniature flat pinned thermocouple plug attached, or just with bare tails.
Sensor operating temperature (min / max): -30...+260°C
